Abstract
This part of GB/T 15469 specifies the measurement and evaluation methods for material loss caused by cavitation in certain specified flow components of a Kaplan turbine under given conditions (such as the power specified in the contract, hydraulic specific energy (water head), rotational speed, materials, operating conditions, and operating time, etc.). The contract should stipulate whether cavitation exists in the entire or partial operating range of the Kaplan turbine. And the guarantee value of cavitation should be clearly specified.
