GB/T 8997-2008 Calibration for alpha,beta and alpha/beta surface contamination meters and monitors
Abstract
This standard specifies the general requirements, calibration items, calibration conditions, calibration methods, and calibration certificate requirements for calibrating α and β surface contamination measuring instruments and monitors. This standard applies to the calibration of portable or fixed α, β, and α/β surface contamination measuring instruments and monitors used in the field of radiation protection (with a maximum energy of β greater than 60 keV); it also applies to the calibration of instruments with special purposes and instruments designed for measuring surfaces with special properties. This standard does not apply to the calibration of radiation monitors or measuring instruments with a maximum energy of β less than 60 keV.
