Abstract
This standard specifies the performance, dimensions, and functional interchangeability of wellhead devices and production trees used in the oil and gas industry, as well as requirements for their design, materials, testing, inspection, welding, marking, packaging, storage, transportation, procurement, repair, and remanufacturing. It also provides corresponding recommended practices.
This standard does not apply to wellhead devices and production trees that are in service, undergoing on-site testing, or being repaired on-site.
