Abstract
This document specifies the allowable deviations of the chemical composition of finished products (including billets) from the specified melting chemical composition limits for non-alloy steel, low-alloy steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, heat-resistant steel, deformable corrosion-resistant alloys, and high-temperature alloys, and provides definitions of related terms.
This document applies to the provisions of product standards and technical agreements for steel and alloys regarding the allowable deviations of the chemical composition of finished products.
