This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, requirements, inspection methods, marking and packaging of gear involute templates.
This standard applies to Class I and Class II gear involute templates (hereinafter referred to as "templates") with a base circle radius rb not exceeding 400mm.
