Abstract
1.1 This standard specifies the test method for environmental stress cracking of polyethylene. 1.2 This standard is applicable to determining the ability of polyethylene homopolymers and other copolymers with less than 50% (by mass) of 1-olefin monomers and not more than 3% (by mass) of functional group-containing non-olefin monomers to resist environmental stress cracking under specified conditions.
