Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of scandium metal.
This standard applies to scandium metal obtained by metal thermal reduction or intermediate alloy methods, and then by vacuum distillation, for use in aerospace, rockets, missiles, electronics, nuclear power, lasers, electric light sources, metallurgy, and other fields.
