Abstract
This standard applies to the calibration of emergency and transport ventilators.
This standard does not apply to invasive ventilators, high-frequency jet ventilators, high-frequency oscillatory ventilators, and non-invasive ventilators used to treat sleep apnea, nor to devices used in hospitals solely for increasing the patient's ventilation volume.
