GB/T 24218.13-2010 Textiles—Test methods for nonwovens—Part 13:Repeated liquid strike-through time
Abstract
This part of GB/T 24218 specifies a method for measuring the penetration time (STT) of a nonwoven fabric cover material by applying three portions of liquid (simulated urine) sequentially to the surface of the sample and measuring the time it takes for a certain amount of liquid to penetrate the nonwoven fabric placed on a dry standard absorbent pad.
This method is suitable for quality control of nonwoven fabric cover materials and for comparing the STT of different nonwoven fabric cover materials. However, this method cannot simulate the actual use conditions of the final product.
