GB 8965.4-2022 Protective clothing—Arc flash protective clothing
Abstract
This document specifies the requirements, marking, and packaging of arc-resistant protective clothing for electrical work and related workplaces, and describes the test methods. This document applies to protective clothing used in electrical work and related workplaces that may be subject to the instantaneous energy and thermal damage of electric arcs. This document does not apply to insulated protective clothing, electromagnetic protective clothing, and shielding clothing for live electrical work in electrical work and related workplaces. This document does not include personal arc-resistant products such as arc-resistant face masks, arc-resistant headgear, arc-resistant gloves, and arc-resistant shoe covers.
