Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements for Y-type wire assemblies and Y-type interconnecting wire assemblies used in household and similar applications.
This standard applies to Y-type wire assemblies and Y-type interconnecting wire assemblies for household and similar applications, with a rated voltage not exceeding 250V and a rated current not exceeding 16A, and featuring only AC single-phase two-pole wires with or without grounding contacts. These Y-type wire assemblies and Y-type interconnecting wire assemblies are used to connect electrical appliances or equipment to power sources.
