Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, design, materials, factory inspection and testing, shipping preparation, and responsibilities of centrifugal pumps (hereinafter referred to as pumps).
This standard applies to industrial pumps under higher requirements.
This standard does not apply to energy storage pumps, or pumps used in the oil, heavy chemical, and natural gas industries.
