GB/T 28784.5-2022 Mechanical vibration—Measurement of vibration on ships—Part 5:Guidelines for measurement, evaluation and reporting of vibration with regard to habitability on passenger and merchant ships
Abstract
This document provides guidelines for measuring, evaluating, and reporting on the habitability vibration of all personnel on passenger ships and merchant ships, especially the crew. It uses the root-mean-square value of the frequency-weighted vibration within the frequency range of 1 Hz to 80 Hz as the evaluation value for different areas of the ship. This document is applicable to passenger ships and merchant ships with an estimated sailing time of 24 hours or more. It specifies the requirements for measuring instruments and measurement procedures in commonly used functional areas, and also includes analysis specifications and guidelines for evaluating the habitability vibration of ships. The evaluation of low-frequency motion on ships that may cause seasickness is specified in ISO 26311. For content related to the overall structural vibration of ships, see ISO 202832.
