GB/T 1545-2008 Paper,board and pulp—Determination of acidity or alkalinity
Abstract
This standard specifies two methods for determining the acidity or alkalinity of paper, cardboard, and pulp water extracts: titration method and pH meter method. The titration method of this standard is suitable for measuring the acidity or alkalinity of general paper, cardboard, and pulp, but it is not suitable for paper and cardboard containing alkaline fillers or coatings. The pH meter method is suitable for all types of paper, cardboard, and pulp with electrical conductivity of the water extract exceeding 0.2 mS/m.
