Abstract
This part of GB 14287 specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, tests, inspection rules, marking, and user's manual for fault arc detectors.
This part is applicable to fault arc detectors installed and used in electrical circuits of 10 kW and below in industrial and civil buildings. Fault arc detectors used for electrical fire monitoring in other devices, as well as fault arc detectors with special requirements in other environments, are also applicable to this part, unless otherwise specified by relevant standards for special requirements.
