This standard specifies the implementation conditions and test cycles, test devices, test methods, and evaluation of temperature uniformity in the effective heating zone for gas heat treatment furnaces.
This standard applies to gas heat treatment furnaces that directly burn gas for heating in the furnace chamber, including cyclic (intermittent) and continuous heat treatment furnaces.
