Abstract
This document specifies the terms and definitions, usage conditions, general requirements, selection of main parameters, technical requirements, testing, and packaging, marking, transportation, and storage for insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) drivers used in flexible DC transmission systems. This document is applicable to IGBT drivers used in flexible DC transmission systems with modular multilevel converter technology at ±800 kV and below. IGBT drivers used in power electronic equipment based on other converter topologies may refer to this document for use.
