Abstract
This standard specifies the types, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation, storage, and marking of scraper conveyors.
This standard applies to scraper conveyors (hereinafter referred to as conveyors) that can continuously transport bulk materials and can be arranged horizontally, vertically, or incline.
This standard does not apply to conveyors that transport the following materials:
a) highly corrosive materials;
b) materials with a bulk density greater than 1.8 t/m3;
c) materials with special physical properties.
