Abstract
This document specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation, and storage of single-shaft centrifugal compressors used in ethylene plants.
This document is applicable to the production and manufacturing of single-shaft centrifugal compressors (referred to as "compressors") such as cracking gas compressors, propylene compressors, ethylene compressors, or multi-component refrigeration compressors used in ethylene plants.
This document is not applicable to axial flow compressors and integral gear compressors.
