GB/T 28029.5-2020 Electronic railway equipment—Train communication network(TCN)—Part 2-4:TCN application profile
Abstract
This part of GB/T 28029 specifies the application protocols for train communication networks, aiming to enable communication between application software via the marshalling network defined in GB/T 28029.1 and the train backbone network defined in GB/T 28029.6.
This part specifies the requirements for applications to communicate via marshalling network data transmission devices on the marshalling network and train backbone network.
This part applies to applications on trains, including application protocols belonging to the functions of the train control and monitoring system (TCMS). The application protocols are based on the TCN communication system used for data communication between train marshalling units. This part provides a data interface with TCMS function parameters and addresses based on the communication protocol defined in GB/T 28029.4.
This part applies to locomotives and vehicles that require interoperable coupling and uncoupling. When agreed upon by both parties, this part can also be used for closed trains and multi-unit trains.
Compliance with the train communication network technology defined in this part can achieve interoperability among various marshalling units of trains.
The data communication system within a marshalling unit does not fall within the scope of this part and is only provided as an example of the TCN solution. In any case, the compatibility proof between the recommended train backbone network and marshalling network should be provided by the supplier.
The special backup functions used when the train backbone network is in a degraded state do not fall within the scope of this part.
