Abstract
This standard specifies the measurement method for the suppression characteristics of passive EMC filter devices used in power cables, signal cables, and other circuits. The method specified in this standard is also applicable to devices that combine overvoltage protection devices and EMC filter devices. Depending on the device and the measurement circuit, the measurement method is suitable for a frequency range of 9 kHz to several GHz.
