GB/T 22640-2023 Test method for determining susceptibility to stress corrosion cracking of aluminium alloys
Abstract
This document describes the method for evaluating the stress corrosion sensitivity of deformed aluminum alloy products.
This document is applicable to the evaluation of the stress corrosion sensitivity of 2xxx (wCu: 1.8%~7.0%), 6xxx, and 7xxx (wCu: 0.4%~2.8%) series aluminum alloy products using constant strain tests on C-ring specimens, constant strain tests on bending beam specimens, constant strain tests on U-ring specimens, constant load tests on tensile specimens, constant strain tests on tensile specimens, and continuous strain increase tests on tensile specimens in boiling sodium chloride solution. Other grades of aluminum alloy products can also refer to this document.
