Abstract
This standard specifies the designation, type dimensions, load-bearing capacity, limit speed, groove design, technical requirements, and marking of open-type snap rings with a nominal diameter of d2 = 0.8 mm to 30 mm (hereinafter referred to as snap rings).
This standard applies to open-type snap rings used to fix components on shafts.
