GB/T 26953-2011 Non-destructive testing of welds—Penetrant testing of welds—Acceptance levels
Abstract
This standard specifies the acceptance levels for penetration testing of surface open defects in metal welds.
This standard is primarily used for manufacturing inspections, but it can also be used for in-service inspections if deemed appropriate.
The acceptance levels in this standard are based on the detection capability expected to be achieved using the methods specified in GB/T 18851.1 and the parameters recommended in Appendix A. The acceptance levels are related to welding standards, application standards, technical specifications, or regulations. More information on the acceptance levels of the display can be found in product or application standards.
