Abstract
This standard stipulates the basic requirements for the production of vinyl chloride and its polymers, production safety, pipelines and equipment, inspection and maintenance safety, on-site emergency response, and safety management.
This standard applies to new, modified, and expanded units that use the calcium carbide-acetylene method to produce vinyl chloride and vinyl chloride polymers. Departments related to the production of polyvinyl chloride should also refer to and use this standard.
