Abstract
This part of GB/T 16856 provides implementation guidelines for conducting risk assessments of machinery in accordance with GB/T 16856.1—2008, and describes various methods and tools related to each step of the process.
This part also provides implementation guidelines for reducing mechanical risks (to meet the requirements of GB/T 15706.1—2007), and gives additional guidance on selecting appropriate protective measures to ensure safety.
The intended users of this part of GB/T 16856 are those involved in integrating safety into the design, installation, or modification of machinery (for example: designers, technicians, safety experts).
