GB 17498.10-2008 Stationary training equipment—Part 10: Exercise bicycles with a fixed wheel or without freewheel—Additional specific safety requirements and test methods
Abstract
This part of GB 17498 specifies additional special safety requirements for exercise bikes with a rotating inertia greater than 0.6 kg·m2 and fixed wheels or without flywheels, in addition to the general safety requirements of GB 17498.1. This part should be used in conjunction with GB 17498.1.
This part applies to S-class and H-class exercise bikes (hereinafter referred to as training equipment) in fixed exercise equipment.
The additional devices on exercise bikes with fixed wheels or without flywheels used for additional training should comply with the requirements of GB 17498.1.
