GB/T 13925-2025 Metallographic test method for high manganese cast steel
Abstract
This document specifies the metallographic sampling methods for cast high-manganese steel and the evaluation criteria for microstructure, carbides, grain size, and non-metallic inclusions.
This document is applicable to the metallographic inspection of austenitic manganese steel castings subjected to water-hardening treatment, except for ZG120Mn7Mo medium-magnesium steel, as stipulated in GB/T 5680. For other cast high-magnesium steels subjected to water-hardening treatment, the metallographic inspection procedures shall be implemented in accordance with this document.
