This document applies to rehabilitation aids for personal use, including those requiring assistance from others, which are designed to improve function and alleviate functional disorders.
This document does not include the following terms:

—— Solutions combining individual rehabilitation aids classified in this document;
—— Pharmaceuticals;
—— Rehabilitation aids and equipment specifically for medical personnel or teachers;
—— Non-technical solutions, such as assistance from others, guide dogs, lip-reading;
—— Implants;
—— Financial support.
