Abstract
This standard specifies the designations of single-layer plating and multi-layer composite plating on the surface of sintered NdFeB permanent magnetic materials, the requirements for the substrate, pre-plating preparation and process, performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and quality certificates. This standard applies to protective and decorative plating on the surface of sintered NdFeB permanent magnetic materials, including plating products using electroplating, chemical plating, and physical vapor deposition (PVD) technologies.
