See A.1. This part of GB 6675 specifies the requirements and test methods for household indoor and outdoor activity toys intended for children under 14 years old to play on or in them. This part applies to swings, slides, seesaws, carousels, swing toys, climbing frames, fully enclosed children's swing seats, and other products intended to support the weight of one or more children. This part does not apply to the following products: a) fitness and sports equipment, unless they are connected to activity toys; b) equipment intended for use in schools, daycare centers, kindergartens, public playgrounds, restaurants, shopping centers, and similar public places; c) adolescent care products, such as (but not limited to) baby swings, baby fences, cribs, or furniture including picnic tables, cradle rockers, and products specifically designed for therapeutic purposes.
