Abstract
This part of GB/T 4857 specifies the main performance requirements, test procedures, and test reports for testing equipment used in horizontal impact tests by controlling the impact input level. This part is applicable to evaluating the impact resistance of transport packaging and the protective capacity of packaging for the contents when subjected to horizontal impact. This test can be conducted as a single test or as part of a series of packaging tests.
