GB/T 45284.17-2025 Information technology—Extensible biometric data interchange formats—Part 17:Gait image sequence data
Abstract
This document describes the specific application requirements for data collection of gait image sequences, provides relevant recommendations, and gives examples of best practices. Its typical applications include:
a) Supporting manual detection of high-resolution videos and static images;
b) Supporting manual biometric recognition and identification based on videos and static images;
c) Automatic verification and identification of gait image sequences.
This document is applicable to image sequences generated by video surveillance and other similar systems for manual identification and verification.
The following content is not within the scope of this document:
—— The definition of biometric recognition profiles related to face and/or full-body images is introduced in ISO/IEC 39794-5 and ISO/IEC 39794-16, respectively;
—— Security aspects, such as electronic signatures for digital image sequences, presentation attack detection (PAD), and anti-tampering.
