Abstract
This document specifies a set of basic encoding rules, which are also applicable to decoding this transmission syntax and are used to identify the transmitted data values. This document also specifies a set of regular encoding rules and atypical encoding rules, which limit the encoding of values to an alternative encoding provided by the basic encoding rules.
