Abstract
This standard specifies the method and requirements for determining the content of precious metals in jewelry using X-ray fluorescence spectrometry.
This standard is only applicable to the determination of the content of precious metals (gold, silver, platinum, palladium) in jewelry and other handicrafts. This standard is applicable when the client and the contractor agree to the commissioning of the inspection, and it is applicable to the internal management of production enterprises that do not include production quality control. Supervisory inspections should be used with caution.
