Abstract
This document describes the test requirements and test methods for three-phase asynchronous motors. The test methods include measuring insulation resistance, measuring DC resistance, thermal testing, load testing, no-load testing, locked-rotor testing, determining losses and efficiency, torque-speed characteristic testing, rotational inertia testing, short-time overtorque testing, surge voltage testing of inter-turn insulation, power frequency voltage endurance testing, measuring rotor open-circuit voltage, overspeed testing, and measuring vibration and noise, as well as measuring shaft voltage and bearing current.
This document is applicable to three-phase asynchronous motors.
