Abstract
This standard specifies the system components, radiation detectors, testing environment, testing methods, imaging techniques, image quality, image display and observation, image evaluation, testing reports, image storage, and process evaluation for the X-ray digital imaging inspection of welding seams on gas cylinders.
This standard applies to the X-ray digital imaging inspection of welding seams on gas cylinders made of steel and non-ferrous metal materials with a base material thickness of 1.5 mm to 20.0 mm.
The X-ray detection technology specified in this standard is AB-grade—medium sensitivity technology.
This standard can be used as a reference for the X-ray digital imaging inspection of welding seams on other equipment.
