This procedure applies to the verification of the following DC resistors:
Resistance working reference instruments and standard instruments with an accuracy grade of 0000 05 to 0002;
Single-value or multi-value resistors with an accuracy grade of 0000 5 to 100 that are newly manufactured, in use, or repaired and used as working metrological instruments;
Single-disc or multi-disc decimal resistors with an accuracy grade of 0000 5 to 100 that are newly manufactured, in use, or repaired and used as working metrological instruments.
This procedure does not apply to:
a) Single-value or multi-value resistors and single-disc or multi-disc decimal resistors that are solely used as power ratio instruments, such as Hamon measuring instruments, voltage dividers, shunts, etc.;
b) Resistors that are solely installed as permanent components in circuits or resistors used solely for adjustment purposes;
c) Resistors used in AC or pulsed circuits;
d) Series or parallel resistors that are solely used as accessories for electrical measuring instruments and cannot be used independently;
e) Active resistors.
