Abstract
This part of GB/T 20975 specifies the spectrophotometric method with dimethylphenol orange and the titration method with Na2EDTA for determining the zirconium content in aluminum and aluminum alloys.
This part is applicable to the arbitral determination of zirconium content in aluminum and aluminum alloys. The measurement range of the spectrophotometric method with dimethylphenol orange is 0.010% to 1.00%; the measurement range of the titration method with Na2EDTA is 2.50% to 18.00%.
