GB/T 27797.8-2011 Fibre-reinforced plastics—Methods of producing test plates—Part 8:Compression moulding of SMC and BMC
Abstract
This part of GB/T 27797 specifies the general principles and steps for preparing test plates by moulding with two types of fibre-reinforced thermosetting moulding compounds, namely sheet moulding compounds (SMC) and bulk moulding compounds (BMC).
The purpose of this part of GB/T 27797 is to ensure the production of flat test plates for cutting test specimens (related test methods are referred to in Appendix A). Test specimens cut from test plates prepared by this method will yield representative test results.
