Abstract
This document defines the terminology of fire hoses; specifies models, basic parameters, performance requirements, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage; and describes the corresponding test methods.
This document is applicable to fire hoses (hereinafter referred to as "hoses") used in fire fighting and rescue, fixed facilities, water supply and drainage, etc. Hoses used for other purposes such as municipal, landscaping, agricultural, and marine applications should refer to this document for implementation.
