Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage for various types of synthetic resin emulsions, which are prepared by emulsion polymerization of monomers such as acrylates, methacrylates, vinyl esters of acetic acid or other organic acids, and styrene, and use water as the dispersion medium. This standard applies to general-purpose synthetic resin emulsions that play a role in film formation and adhesion in interior and exterior wall coatings.
