This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of polyester industrial filament yarn. This standard applies to polyester industrial filament yarn with a linear density of 140 dtex to 9,000 dtex. Other polyester industrial filament yarns can be used as reference for application.
