GB/T 15558.4-2023 Buried polyethylene(PE) piping systems for the supply of gaseous fuels—Part 4:Valves
Abstract
This document specifies the materials, product classification, dimensional specifications and tolerances, physical and mechanical properties, inspection rules, marking, technical documents, and packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for buried polyethylene valves for gas use (hereinafter referred to as "valves"). It also describes the corresponding test methods. Together with other parts of GB/T 15558, this document is applicable to buried polyethylene pipeline systems for gas use with an operating temperature of -20 ℃ to 40 ℃ and a maximum operating pressure (MOP) of no more than 1.0 MPa. This document is applicable to buried polyethylene valves for gas use with a nominal outer diameter (dn) of 16 mm to 400 mm, manufactured from PE 100-grade or PE 80-grade compounds.
