GB/T 18759.2-2006

This part of GB/T 18759 specifies the basic system architecture of open numerical control systems and defines the various functional components and their main functional modules in the architecture. This part only specifies the controller specifications of open numerical control systems and does not impose restrictions on the type and performance of drives or on software developed by end users. This part does not specify the operating system and communication system in detail. Any operating system and communication system (including PC communication systems) that comply with de facto standards, are internationally popular, and are technically mature are considered to comply with this part. This part only specifies the use of international standards or de facto standards for the external interface of the controller and does not impose specific restrictions. This part only defines the most basic modules and their functions, which can be expanded in actual use. This part of GB/T 18759 applies to open numerical control systems used in mechanical and electrical equipment.
