The chapter of GB/T 19212.1—2016 is replaced by the following content:
This part of GB/T 19212 specifies the safety of transformers used on construction sites and power supply devices installed in transformers used on construction sites. Transformers with electronic circuits are also included in this part.
Note 1: Safety requirements include electrical, temperature, and mechanical aspects.
Unless otherwise specified, the following "transformers" include transformers used on construction sites and power supply devices installed in transformers used on construction sites.
This part applies to stationary or mobile, single-phase or multi-phase, air-cooled (self-cooling or air-cooled), auxiliary or independent isolation or safety-isolated dry-type transformers used on construction sites. The windings can be encapsulated or non-encapsulated.
The rated power supply voltage does not exceed AC 1,000 V, and the rated power supply frequency and internal operating frequency do not exceed 500 Hz.
When this part is used in conjunction with GB/T 19212.17 Switch-Mode Power Supply Devices, it also applies to power supply devices with an internal operating frequency exceeding 500 Hz. When the requirements of the two standards are inconsistent, the more stringent standard shall prevail.
The rated output shall not exceed:
——25 kVA for single-phase transformers;
——40 kVA for multi-phase transformers.
If the purchaser and the manufacturer have another agreement, this part also applies to transformers with no restrictions on rated output.
