Abstract
This document specifies the principles, testing equipment, samples, testing procedures, test results, and test reports for the wire winding test method of metal materials.
This document is suitable for determining the ability of metal wires with a diameter or characteristic size of 0.1 mm to 10 mm to withstand plastic deformation during the winding test, and it is also suitable for determining the adhesion performance of the surface coating of coated metal wires. After consultation with relevant parties, the winding test of metal wires of other specifications can also be carried out in accordance with this document.
