GB 28241-2012

This standard specifies the safety technical requirements and measures for the design, manufacture, and use of hydraulic presses for metal cold processing.
This standard applies to hydraulic presses for metal cold processing, as well as hydraulic presses for processing other sheet materials (such as cardboard, plastic, rubber, and leather) and metal powders. It also applies to auxiliary devices connected to hydraulic presses. This standard does not apply to machines used for the following purposes:
a)〖WB〗 Shearing of metal sheets, such as shearing machines;
b)〖DW〗 Fastening and connecting, such as riveting;
c)〖DW〗 Bending or folding, such as pipe bending machines and folding machines;
d)〖DW〗 Straightening or correction, such as manual straightening hydraulic presses;
e)〖DW〗 Mobile or rotary head stamping, such as rotary head presses, mobile punch presses, or mobile presses;
f)〖DW〗 Extrusion, such as horizontal extrusion presses;
g)〖DW〗 Forging hammers and free forging presses;
h)〖DW〗 Specific metal powder forming, such as ultra-high pressure hydrostatic presses;
i)〖DW〗 Machines designed solely for punching, such as punching machines in the structural parts industry.
