Abstract
This part of GB 9706 stipulates the general requirements for the basic safety and basic performance of ME equipment and ME systems.
This part applies to medical electrical equipment and medical electrical systems (hereinafter referred to as ME equipment and ME systems).
Replacement: This part applies to the basic safety and basic performance of therapeutic electron accelerators with an energy of 1 MeV to 50 MeV, hereinafter referred to as ME equipment. This part includes type testing and field testing, which are applicable to the manufacture of electron accelerators and certain aspects of their installation, respectively:
