GB/T 7000.220-2023 Luminaires—Part 2-20:Particular requirements—Lighting chains
Abstract
This document specifies the safety requirements for light strings that are used indoors or outdoors, with a power supply voltage not exceeding 250 V, and equipped with light sources connected in series, parallel, or a combination of series and parallel circuits.
For combination lamps containing light strips (also known as sealed light strings), see GB/T 7000.221.
This document applies to light strings that are provided with fixed or detachable decorative accessories.
For light strings equipped with plug-in sockets, the corresponding requirements of this document shall apply.
